Duffy`s Tavern in Nortd Kingstown

We come here once a year from CT after a paracon. Best seafood around. I also make it a point to eat at their booth at the Big E every year. Love their food!

Grate service, shrimp over cooked baked stuff lobster over cooked.

My husband and I arrived for dinner, just as we were about to sit down the bartender/server asked us to leave due to the fact that she was alone tonight and “could not keep up.” This was before 6:30 pm on a Sunday night. While it was “steady” it didn’t seem like it was a situation that could not be handled. This was my first and last time here. She was also quite rude in describing her situation to us. The bar was full, but every guest was taken care of. There were only two other tables and they had been helped as well.

Fun place nice people sometimes needs more help. They do there best. Food has always been good and reasonable.

Lots of food for the price. Food is good but not outstanding. A locals place without much atmosphere.

Great service but didn't have Captain Morgan, Yeuling beer or whole belly clams. I get the clams,maybe busy and ran out,but the liquor and beer??

The BEST swordfish steak I have ever tasted...charcoled medium; garlic butter sauce with loads of capers.yum 😋This is my 92 year old mom's favorite. Her name is Gracie and they treat her like a queen. She loves the servers there and often treats her family to dinner at Duffy's, a family gathering place for the Kearney clan.

Waiter Nolan was amazing. Food was great.

Delicious fresh seafood. Fish and crab legs were excellent. Our waitress was wonderful. First time there but not my last.

Usually go here once or twice a year with the whole family while on vacation. Food is always great. Service is always slow. Fair trade in my opinion, 4 stars because the staff is never the friendliest. Not rude, just always seems a bit too busy to be attentive or friendly.

Slow service. Seafood plater isn't as big as others. What I got was good though

This restaurant was fantastic! The waitress was incredibly personable and took care of us like we were family. It was the first good seafood I've had since leaving the east coast 4 years ago. I would highly recommend.

Just go there and you'll know. Food is very VERY good and consistently so. Older clientele and work staff is also VERY appealing.

Totally disgusted! Waitress was unpleasant and had no idea how to serve. Brought my husband red chowder when he ordered white. Then 10 minutes later I got my chowder. Meals were served but she forgot to bring his salad. They ran out of bay scallops so I ordered the sea scallops that were WAY over done. Husband ordered twin lobsters that were over cooked and tough. Won’t bother spending hard earned money at a dump like that anymore. We used to go there all the time but tonight was the LAST time. We work too hard for our money to waste it on a place like that!

You can't beat this place especially if you love Seafood the prices are great their beers are still 2 bucks a piece for 16 oz the service is great and the place is kept nice and clean. Usually have lunch there everyday plus free newspaper. I recommended very highly

Wickford's best dive bar. This is one of the best places to go meet some friends for a few beers after a hard day of work. No need to get dressed up just go in work clothes. Everyone is super nice and generally keeps to themselves but will talk to you if you talk to them. Regular bar food and great lobster and King crab.

The worst dining experience we have had in a long time. The service was terrible! The waitress seemed bothered by our presence and was so unpleasant. It was very uncomfortable. The food was so bad and tasted like frozen processed seafood from a bag!!! This place used to be so amazing with a large menu. We will NEVER go back and we will never recommend it to anyone ever again!

Love this place. Keep coming back for more . Food is so good and just can't beat the prices.

Stuffed lobster is excellent. The waitress cheerful. Very refreshing..thank you for one of the greatest dining experiences I have had .

Daffys is my favorito restaurant in north kingston

Mediocre food, but service was excellent. The atmosphere is old fashioned and very cool. Our waitress was funny and very attentive. She even gave us suggestions of places near by to go to as we were not from the area.

While on a Sunday drive in North Kingstown Rhode island, discovered thisOld style seafood restaurant with quite an extensive menu. Good service and delicious food.

Not sure why this is a 3.6. Food was ridiculous! Amazing! Service was amazing! If your not from here it’s a must visit!

Great food, great experience! Nolan took care of us. A wide selection of beers and delicious lobster!

Food was very good for a “pub” style joint. You get a lot for your money and the owner “Stu” is very nice and funny.

While visiting friends over Christmas, we stopped in at Duffy’s as they wanted for me to experience real New England seafood especially the chowder. I greatly enjoyed the entire experience! I ordered corn chowder with shrimp and scallops and clam cakes on the side. The serving was huge and delicious! I also had a great time visiting with the owner, Stu. What a fascinating character! I learned a great deal about local seafood and the area. A truly wonderful experience.

Chowder was delicious, lobster was fresh, waiter and staff were knowledgeable and professional. Damn COVID-19 is keeping from returning.

what happened to Duffy's?!? It's been a while since I have been here and I have to say, what a disappointment!!! We arrived at the dining room, where only two tables were occupied, and have several minutes of waiting, we're told it would be another five minutes by a grumpy pussed face waitress, who then proceeded to go to the tavern side to get the waitress there, who was busy, to come seat us. Really? And she ended up being out server anyway, which seemed to make her mood more dismal, if that's conceivable. Letting all that slide, we order our food. After almost an hour wait, interrupted occasionally by a less than pleasant and/or attentive server, we got our orders. Out of the four entrees, only one was actually eaten with any kind of enthusiasm, and that meal was mediocre at best. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, please! The one star rating is for my fond memory of the Duffy's of days gone by, long gone apparently!

Loved the peel and eat shrimp, great price. Oysters were so good we had to order another round. Friendly service behind the bar. All around great place!

I have been going to Duffys for years. Last night was awful. The swordfish and scallops were frozen not fresh. The baked fisherman's platter was watery and tasteless. They had one waiter on for 8 tables. I am totally disappointed.

I opted for the cod, not flounder and I was not disappointed! Two large pieces to enjoy. The first piece was piping hot and salted to perfection... with a lititle melt vinegar....mmmmm. perfect with a beer.

Great, last of the local hangouts. Don't forget to wear your bass fisherman hat so you'll fit in.
